Our focus for this year is “Becoming Caring Servants Sharing the Love of Jesus Christ” and in the fall we will be working specifically on becoming servants.

In September, the theme for older elementary kids is “God Chooses Us”. We’ll learn about how God chooses ordinary people to make a difference in His world. The younger children will be learning about Judges and Kings this month and will read stories about Deborah, Samuel and Saul.

Don’t forget – there is No Sunday School on Sunday, September 26, so that we can go Into the Woods for an outdoor worship and all-church picnic!

Calendar:
Sept 5 – Labor Day weekend and 1st Sunday Special – “Game Day”
Sept 12 – Regular Sunday School:  Older kids study Samuel, and younger kids study Hannah and Samuel
Sept 19 – Regular Sunday School: Older kids study David, and
younger kids study Samuel Hears God
Sept 26 – no Sunday School
